SP12K The SP12K provides a maximum flow rate of
12,000 gallons (45,000
liters) per hour. Use it stationary on one tank or move it from tank to
tank. Unlike other Flo King units, the SP12K is available in only one body
length. When used solely for agitation, the SP12K includes the items shown
in the labeled photo at right. When used for filtration, the SP12K
includes a Super Quad Cartridge Holder, Super Slide-In Filter Cartridge
Adapter, and four filter cartridges.For coarse filtration of most metal-finishing solutions (SP12K not recommended for fine filtration) use the SP12K with our FK75 Poly-Spun or PW100, PW200 or PW400 Poly-Wound disposable filter cartridges in the appropriate length. Note: The SP12K must be clamped or bolted to tank. Neither a Universal Bracket nor handle is available for this model. Also, due to high flow rate and short contact time with carbon, the SP12K is generally not recommended for in-tank carbon treatment. SP12K Specifications Pump: All-CPVC or stainless steel construction with Teflon-covered stainless steel shaft. Pump also available in stainless steel and PVDF (Kynar). Flow Rate: 12,000 gallons (45,000 liters) per hour at 60 Hz. A flow-rate reduction of about 18% is typical when operating at 50 Hz. Pressure: 50 feet (15.25 meters) of head pressure (15 psi). Weight: About 65 pounds (30 kg) Motor: Epoxy coated, TEFC, Thermally Protected. Ready for hard wiring (does not include cord or plug). Available in: * Three phase, 3 HP (2235 watt), 208-230/460 V, 8 - 7.4/3.7 A, 60 HZ, 3450 RPM. * Three phase, 3 HP, 220/380/440 V, 8.2 / 4.7 / 4.2 A, 50 HZ, 2850 RPM. * Single phase, 3 HP, 208-230 V, 13.7 - 12.5 A, 60 HZ, 3450 RPM. Important: To ensure priming, proper operation , and best results, solution should be 4" (10 cm) or more above Weep Hole on SP12K pump body.
