A return authorization number is NOT required. But make sure to include your name, address, phone number, fax, e-mail and other contact information inside the box. A technician will contact you with an evaluation and repair estimate.

Making the Repair Yourself
There are certain repairs that some capable maintenance workers prefer to make in the field, without returning the pump to the Flo King factory. In these cases, identification of the pump model, body length, material of construction, motor horsepower, motor frequency, motor phase, and motor voltage are required.

NOTE; WE DO NOT SELL REPAIR PARTS TO THIRD-PARTY BUSINESSES SUCH AS ELECTRIC MOTOR REPAIR SHOPS. REASONS: SPECIAL REPAIR TOOLS AND TECHNIQUES ARE REQUIRED BECAUSE OF THE CORROSIVE ENVIRONMENTS IN WHICH THESE PRODUCTS ARE USED. ALSO, THEIR PRICES WILL ALWAYS BE HIGHER THAN OUR FACTORY REPAIR PRICES AND THEIR CUSTOMERS WILL NOT RECEIVE A FACTORY WARRANTY ON REPLACEMENT PARTS. CUSTOM MASTERS, INC., IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY REPAIRS MADE OUTSIDE OF THE FLO KING FACTORY.

Identifying Your Pump
If you want to order repair parts, first identify your pump model:
* * BX650 (1/15th-hp motor)
* * BX1200 (1/12th-hp motor)
* * BX3000 (usually 0.33-hp motor, unless "high-density" or 3-phase model)
* * BX5000 (usually 0.75-hp motor, unless "high-density" or 3-phase model)
* * Low-Profile BXL2500 (belt drive; usually 0.33-hp motor)
* * Low-Profile BXL5000 (belt drive; usually 0.75-hp motor)
* * Lab Series (1/70th-hp motor)
* * SP12K (3-hp motor)

Determining Length of Pump Body
All Flo King pumps are manufactured in different pump-body lengths. To determine the length, measure the "A" dimension shown on the dimensional drawing for each pump model under "Identifying Your Pump" (above).

Material of Construction
Flo King pumps are available in different materials of construction. To determine the material, check the color of the pump body that is submerged in solution. The two most popular are gray (CPVC plastic) and white (polypropylene). The other options are stainless steel and PVDF (Kynar), a high-temperature plastic.
